some interesting stuff i found in the newspaper:

  • despite the cost of living, have you noticed how popular it remains?
  • a conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking.
  • to steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research.
  • before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. that way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
  • good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
  • a clean desk is a sign of a cluttered desk drawer.
  • confession is good for the soul, but bad for your career.
  • money isn't everything, but it sure keeps the children in touch.
